My dear Lockhart,
The attached is the Clause which the War Department desire to be inserted in the Tramways Ordinance being the usual clause inserted in the Parliamentary Bills for such like undertakings in Great Britain.
The electric traction will necessitate the provision of metallic circuit to our telephone wires which I should like to be certain the clause in reference thereto covers.
